Stopped working after KB5037768 Windows update

After this update, Midi Mixer v. 2.7.3 no longer starts, and the Windows compatibility troubleshooter says "incompatible program" (??!!). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling -- no luck. Fortunately, the version from the MS store does work, although the link to the app from the start menu appears to be broken. I am also happy to report that my settings have survived the ordeal.
Has anyone else been through this?

I forgot to specify that this is on Windows 10. Curiously, I have just applied the update to another computer, but the problem hasn't cropped up. Go figure.
