80MB memory usage doesn't seem too much, but the occasional jump in CPU is expected sometimes due to churning audio sessions and the creation/clean-up required for that each time.
It's something I keep a close eye on; average CPU usage from anonymous analytics over the past year-and-a-bit is just below 0.01%. Most of the work is the app trying to keep the board in sync with system state as MIDI devices can be stubborn.
That said, I'm overdue a maintenance pass to keep on top of these things and there are a few small places I can cut down on the usage.
