Hi everyone, so I've had my car for about three months now and I'm starting to notice tiny swirl marks and a couple of small rock chips on the front bumper that are really bothering me. I didn't think much about paint protection when I first bought the car but now I'm regretting not looking into it earlier. A colleague at work suggested that I should check out something called Abu Dhabi Paint Protection Film Service because apparently they use a self healing film that can handle our harsh summers without turning yellow or peeling off after a few months. I have zero experience with this stuff so I wanted to ask if anyone here has actually gone through the process and can tell me whether it really makes a difference in the long run. Does it actually stop sand and small stones from damaging the paint or is it just an expensive gimmick? Also how do you clean the car afterwards because I've heard some people say you can't take it to automatic car washes anymore. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that ends up looking worse after a year. Would love to hear from someone who has real experience with this in Abu Dhabi specifically because the weather here is no joke. Thanks in advance.
