Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some clarity on something that's been bothering me for a while. I bought a used Infiniti QX80 last year and so far I've just been taking it to a small garage near my house in Mohammed Bin Zayed City for basic stuff like oil changes and tire rotations. But now the car has started making this weird clicking noise from the front suspension whenever I go over speed bumps and I feel like this might be more complicated than what my regular guy can handle. I started looking online for a better option and I keep seeing garages claim they have certified technicians. Some even put photos of certificates on their social media pages. But honestly I don't know if any of these certificates are real or if they just print them out to make themselves look good. I really want to find a place that employs actual Abu Dhabi certified Infiniti technicians because I figure if someone has gone through proper training specifically for these cars then they should know the common problems and how to fix them correctly the first time. But how can I verify if a technician is actually certified? Is there a registration number I can check online or a governing body that issues these certificates? And does certification even guarantee good work or have you guys had bad experiences with certified people as well? I don't want to drive all the way to the dealership and pay those prices if I don't have to but I also don't want to end up at another garage where someone is learning on my car. Please share your honest experiences and any tips on how to separate real certified technicians from fake ones. Thanks a lot.
