Hi everyone, so my car battery decided to give up on me this morning right when I was already running late for work. Typical timing, right? I've been looking around online and calling a few shops, but honestly I'm getting a bit worried about ending up with a fake or something that won't last through the summer heat. A buddy of mine told me I should look for a Dubai Authorized Varta Battery Dealer because apparently the official ones actually stock the real German-made units and not the cheaper knockoffs you see sometimes. I just don't want to waste my money on something that'll leave me stranded again in six months. Has anyone here bought from an authorized shop lately? How was the pricing compared to the random battery guys you find on Google? I'm not trying to break the bank but I also don't want to be cheap and regret it later. Also, do they usually handle the installation or do I need to find a separate garage for that? Never really had to deal with this before, my old battery lasted almost four years so I'm kind of new to the whole replacement process. Any advice on what to look out for or which areas have trustworthy shops would be awesome. Thanks in advance, really appreciate any help on this.
