Hola. Bunch of oddness happening suddenly. Since either updates to my Windows 11 or the Midimixer, or some other software recently, I am now only seeing programs and devices to be selected in the Korg NanoKontrol2 profiles section. But the assigned knobs and faders to not control the abovementioned channels anymore. Also, the controller, whilst on, does not indicate signals in any of the turned on channels, which used to be indicated with red leds before. When I activate/set a new button, it doesnt light up anymore as before etc. Periodically, also. Midimixer now "loses sight" of some programs already open and assigned - such as Spotify, for example. Using the Focus function instead, for troubleshooting, doesnt change anything either. Music from Spotify is playing. 5 minutes ago I was able to select it from the list. It is now grayed out. And Spotify, while open right now, is not available in the dropdown anymore.

Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling manually. To no avail. Is there a way to wipe the sleet completely clean and start from scrats? MidiMixer remembered previous settings after the reinstall. So the uninstall was probably not a helpful remedy.

Any ideas how to proceed?

Hmm that does sound odd. There's a 2.7.2 patch that went out today with a new code signing certificate that may help.

If you want to try a "complete" uninstall, there are instructions on the docs 🙂 https://docs.midi-mixer.com/faq#uninstalling

Hello, sorry I don't mean to hijack this thread but I'm having the same issues. I'm not sure about the buttons leds but my key combinations stopped working today. I tried opening notepad to check if it sends key presses but it doesn't.

Same here, since yesterday with windows 10. I try everything MIDImanager, hard reset, clean uninstall and didnt work

Jack Hola. Thanks for the suggestion. I was already on 273.
I did a clean uninstall just now. Deleted the AppData folder, and there was in fact seemingly no folder associated with MidiMixer in %localappdata%. And reinstalled 2.7.3 from the website,

Same situation. WIndows is seeing the controller. But it seems MidiControl is no longer seeing it. The Available and In Use tabs are empty in the Buttons section in the UI, and force loading the Nanokontrol2 profile results in a pink error "
Failed loading profile: Error invoking remote method 'loadProfile': Error: No input available for "nanoKONTROL2"". The Profiles tab seems to show a new type of message/interface.

I also tried getting a driver directly from Korg's website (although this has never been necessary before). Changed nothing. Oddness.

So. Here is an intermediary situation report 2+ weeks later. I reinstalled Win 11 on the computer. Same situation.
I've no reconnected the device to my older computer with Win 10. Same situation.
I've tested another USB cable. Same.
I've made sure the device is not faulty - it seems not to be. For example Virtual DJ sees every single midi signal and reports each single one correctly, and manages to switch the button lights on and off successfully.

The only thing new is the screen in the software talking of Improved profile sharing and discoverability, and instructing to use a local one.

@Jack Where could I find an older version of the software? I'd be happy to test if it's ok with 2.7.2 or earlier..
